As you may have already noticed, we have leveled our heels skills classes! We have had a high demand for heels classes and we want to provide more opportunities for students to hone their heels skills.
This will allow students who are primarily interested in dancing in heels to progress through the levels. You will be able to progress all the way to level 6 completely in heels if you prefer (after taking level 1).
This change will allow students to feel comfortable working on all skills in heels, not just floor based tricks, to create a well rounded experience in your shoes.
How does this work?
After taking level 1, students can progress to level 2 and/or level 2 heels classes. Since you can take all of the leveled heels classes with no shoes on, this does not restrict access to leveled classes.
If you are a current student and not sure where to start with your leveled heels class experience, please feel free to reach out to us and we an help you pick the right classes.
FAQ
Can I take a leveled heels class in bare feet?
Yes! There may be heels specific moves that could be more challenging, so we recommend bringing socks.
What if I am an advanced poler but have never taken a heels class?
We would recommend leveling down tow heels levels until your instructor levels you up.
How do I know when I am ready to move up to the next level?
Your instructor will let you know when you are ready to graduate to the next level.
Will there still be technique classes?
There will be specialized technique classes like edgework and kips, but this will replace our previous Skills & Drills classes.
